Who we are

We are a stucco and exterior finishing business based in Northlake, IL, working across the Chicago metro — the near-west and western suburbs, DuPage County, the North Shore, and Chicago itself. The work is split between new custom homes for builders and homeowners, and repair, restoration and painting on houses that are already standing.

The thing that defines the business is that we do both systems. Most exterior contractors install traditional cement stucco or they install EIFS, and whichever one they do turns out to be the right answer for every project they are asked about. We install both, which means when you ask us which one your house needs, you get an answer based on the wall rather than on our inventory.

The other thing is texture. The finish coat is the last quarter inch of a stucco wall and it is the part everyone actually looks at — smooth, sand, dash, or a custom match to an existing elevation. Getting it the same from the front of a house to the side is a planning and crew problem more than a material one, and it is the part of the trade we are most particular about.

We are locally owned and we work where we live. That is not a marketing line so much as a constraint: a contractor who lives in the same suburbs as their customers does not get to disappear after a job goes wrong.

How we work

Four things we will not trade away.

  • Custom-home quality, everywhere

The standard does not change because a wall faces the alley. The rear elevation gets the same crew, the same mix and the same attention as the one people photograph.

  • Honest advice, even when it costs us

If your wall needs a crack sealed rather than a full re-coat, we will tell you. If EIFS suits your project better than the stucco you came to us for, we will tell you that too.

  • Clean sites

Material stacked, scaffold tidy, debris cleared, drives swept. You are living in the house — or trying to sell it — while we are on it.

  • One crew, start to finish

Texture changes when the hand changes. Keeping the same people on an elevation from the first coat to the last is the whole reason the finish stays consistent.

On site

Finishing another house.

That phrase comes straight out of the owner's own posts, and it is a fair summary of the business. Hands-on, texture-focused work on one house at a time, posted as it finishes.

If you want to see what we are working on right now rather than what we have polished for a website, the Facebook page is the honest version — project photos as they come off the phone.
